About Us

Rev. Robert Buckner has been preaching more than 40 years and has served churches in Tennessee, Missouri and Kansas. He has preached in several foreign countries including Mexico, Canada, Jordan, Israel and Egypt.

His call to the ministry came as a teenager shortly after accepting Christ as Savior. He worked alongside his father, the late Rev. Henry J. Buckner, conducting tent meetings and preaching in the local jail before going to college and seminary. "Caring for Others" was a radio ministry originally founded by his father but continued for several years under Robert's leadership, which reached many people for Jesus Christ.

Presently, Robert serves the greater Knoxville area with a television program entitled, "Messages That Inspire", which can be heard on cable channel 12 in Knoxville, Tennessee and is streamed over the Internet each week.
